Balcony
No one has fallen off this balcony. The Camelot Theater in Nevada, Iowa is a gem. Owned by two adult kids, who really wanted to buy a bar, it houses first run movies at el cheap-o prices. But it is a lot more than a movie house. When you walk in, you are greeted by retro-70's esq faux-stone and brass and "crystal" chandeliers, but once you enter the theater, it is 1920.

The Camelot Apartments
This is another thing that makes the Camelot special - vintage apartments. They aren't livable, but they are wonderful. They would serve as the perfect, dilapidated backdrop of an Annie L. Vogue/Vanity Fair/et. al, photo shoot. With the vintage stove, a pass through mail slot, a slender back hallway accessed through the projection room, this is the stuff of wonderful nightmares.

Opera Seats
This opera nook used to be usable. Technically it still is, though Sam, the husband/owner of the Camelot, cautions against such foolishness. The balconies hold only plants (fake) and serve as decoration for the theater.

Zee Lounge
The Lounge is in the basement of the Camelot, adjacent to the underside of the seating, where there is a floor of dirt, with broken beer bottles from pre-prohibition, bricks, mortor, tall boys...etc, and was where the kids hung out between movie changes, and probably rolled a few fatties and smootched.

This mismatched pair of shoes was found after Sam & Sue took possession of the building. Along with numerous c. 1920 beer bottles the shoes were unearthed from a stone wall in the basement of the Camelot.

These tins are sent to the Camelot holding snippets of movies to come. They are the trailer tins. The projection room of the theater is lined with these tins.
